Join us for the first of a series of wine dinners focusing on different wine regions of the world. What better place to start than our own backdoor? The Nova Scotian gastronomic landscape has become a lot more diverse and colourful over the past two decades. Our wines have gain national and sometimes international acclaim, but it's also our food that's evolving. Only 20 years ago the number of cheese, cured meat providers could be counted on one hand. The idea of gourmet breads limited to just a few. Even our produce remained rooted in root vegetables. At this 5 course dinner event, sommelier, Food & Drink critic Mark DeWolf will introduced you to the diversity of the Nova Scotia table with some of his favourite wines and foods including his favourite breads, local cheeses, local seafood and local produce.
