About the event
This Valentine’s Day, step behind the door of The Post Office, Halifax’s luxurious private speakeasy in the North End, for an evening designed to indulge all the senses. Set in an intimate, candle-lit atmosphere, guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated four-course dinner where chocolate takes centre stage, not as an afterthought, but as a sophisticated ingredient woven throughout the menu.
Each course explores chocolate’s savoury and sweet potential, showcasing its depth, texture, and ability to elevate flavour when used with restraint and creativity. From subtle cacao notes enhancing umami-rich dishes to a decadent finale that feels both indulgent and refined, this is a menu created for sharing, lingering, and discovery.
